“Visible Silence” is a documentary film sharing the stories of Thai toms, dees and lesbians striving for visibility, authenticity, and acceptance in a highly traditional society.
With support from the Horizons Foundation, Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice, Frameline Completion Fund, GAPA Foundation and others, award-winning filmmaker Ruth Gumnit and her binational (Thai-U.S.) team have finished the film! Since June, 2015 the film has been screening in Asia, Europe and the United States.
